Yesterday tuesday the 09th of October Cig Harvey (England) was awarded as the winner of the Prix Virginia 2018.

 

The jury 2018 was particularly impressed by the work of ten candidates among the 378 applications received from 43 countries :

On T‌uesday October 9th, 2018, the Prix Virginia will be awarded to a female photographer for an unseen photographic series in France. This award ceremony will also be the opening of the winner's solo show at the espace Oppidum, 30 rue de Picardie, Paris 75003 from October 10 to 28.

Prix Virginia 2016

The Espace photographique de Sauroy, 58 rue Charlot, 75003 Paris, will display the exhibition of the photos by the Prix Virginia 2016 winner, Sian Davey.

 

The exhibition will remain from Friday the 21th of October until Saterday the 12th of November, opened from the Monday to Saturday,  1 :00 am to 7 :00 am.
